How It Work

Step 1: sign-up

We need your personal information, business information, and relevant experience to get started. Head over to Sign Up. We take your privacy very seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

This process takes about 10 minutes.

Step 2: Speak with an Agent

Once you Sign Up, an agent will give you a call or setup a time with you to speak. We want to make sure that you get all of your questions answered before getting started. Check out our FAQ section for common questions.

The call can take 10 to 20 minutes, depending on how many questions you have. Normally, within 24 to 48 hours after Step 1, you will hear from an agent.

Step 3: Setup Your Profile

After your call with an agent, you can download the Anita’s Pro app, log-in, and start building your business profile. In the app, you will be able to set your rates, surcharges, location preferences, job preferences, payment information, and review agreements.

This process takes about 10 to 45 minutes.

That’s it! It’s really that easy!

Before accepting any jobs, you’ll need to have a city-issued business permit (sometimes called a business tax certificate). This is not a professional license—it’s simply the registration most cities require for anyone running a small business.

Getting one is straightforward. We recommend applying with the city where you live, though you may apply in another city if that works better for you. To activate your account with Anita’s, all we need is proof or a receipt showing you applied and paid for the business license. We may independently verify directly with the city.

From the time you submit your application (online or in person) to when we activate your account, the whole process usually takes about one business day.
